Earline Mobley Chisholm was born at the end of July, in the year 1920, in Chester, South Carolina. She was the youngest daughter of 11 children born to Bennie and Ella Mobley. Known to be a rambunctious child growing up, she was looked upon with adoration from a loving mother who never hindered her from displaying her personality. Growing into a young woman, she married and started a family at a young age. With the job market being more prevalent in the North at the time, she and her husband moved their young, growing family to pursue a better life. Earline began her work career by doing domestic work to help support the family and eventually began a full-time job with the state transportation department of Pennsylvania, where she worked for many years until she retired. Earline completed her family with five children, three boys and two girls. She was a proud Mother and, over time became an even prouder Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Great-Great Grandmother. The beauty of her story is that the love she showed her family was generously reciprocated. Every single person in the family loved Earline. She had a disposition that made people gravitate to her. Her giving spirit and radiant beauty was recognized by everyone she connected with. She carried these traits throughout her entire life.
